Portraits have a purpose in the area of business. Think of your portrait or headshot as part of your resume. It is the unwritten area, the photograph that is worth 1000 words. Portraits are just that, a sales tool, an introduction a display of who we are. The truth is a good portrait helps open more doors and gives us opportunities.
What our portrait says about us varies, our body position, expression, clothing and posture help tell that story.
As a professional photographer, my role is to help you tell your story. I need to assist you by knowing what you want to say, and transferring that ideal into a portrait representation.
Executive and Corporate Portraits or Headshots
Executives portraits for an individual or business group, requires something all together different. Executive pictures can serve many purposes. Firstly, they can provide recognition. Secondly a business portrait can portray a feeling or elicit emotion. “They look friendly” or “he looks professional”, are just a couple feelings you may want to elicit. Therefore executive and corporate portraits are very important. Portraits provide the first step in getting to know or identifying with the person in an organization. How do you want to be portrayed? Photographs must be created with care and attention to achieve the desired results. We assist in choosing the right pose and body language. Body language says a lot! Make sure your body language is appropriate for what you want to say.
Portraits of Corporate Groups or Teams
Corporate photographs of teams or small groups including the sales teams, executives or Board of Directors, are all must haves. We all use many of these photographs in websites, annual reports and other promotional materials. We are called upon frequently to photograph different corporate groups both in studio and on location. Sometimes adhering to a brand standard or corporate direction and in other times tying in to a companies website or colour scheme, we work with businesses to achieve the look they are hoping for.

Model and actor headshots and portfolios are an important tool to securing new work. Think of your headshot, comp card or portfolio much like you would your resume, as it is these images that will help you advance your career. Updating your headshots is also extremely important as scouts want to see how you look now, not 2 years ago. You need to also be able to present different looks, both with wardrobe and expression. We can assist in wardrobe selection, styling and more to ensure that you receive images that best reflect who you are and what you are capable of.
