I love getting the chance to be creative with light posing and props. This fantastic client came in with some beautiful clothing options, and we just had fun with it all for over an hour with lighting, backdrops, chairs and more. What a great shoot and she did absolutely amazing!!! I will be posting more.

Getting that perfect dawn or dusk photograph can m

Getting that perfect dawn or dusk photograph can mean some very early mornings or late evening sessions. And when sweet light only lasts so long, you literally only have seconds to get that perfect image. Sessions in the summer at dawn can mean arriving at the location by 5am or even earlier.
Last summer, I photographed over 25 properties at either dawn or dusk, and when you have to take into consideration the cloudy days, that can take months to accomplish.
I was able to get some beautiful images for IJL last September. Due to traffic and sun exposure, this was done on one of those early mornings.

The WEA celebrated 100 years in 2023 and featured a number of longtime members on their social media. Many of our clients have been with us for years. And often we will photograph the same people years after their initial sessions as they update the business portraits. Colliers is one of those companies.

Each one of these companies have their own photo guidelines, background and lighting requirements. These can be set by the client or us to ensure that the backgrounds, poses and lighting patterns remain consistent from session to session. These four people were photographed on four separate occasions yet they appear like they happened the same day.
