Emily was in this recently to have a professional headshot taken to use on the company website, as well as to represent her on the many professional and charitable boards she is a part of. We chose background colors and wardrobe that worked with the many uses she had in mind. And we also ensured the angles photographed,worked well for the desired uses. In addition we chose expressions and poses that worked well for the intended use. As a business professional, advisor, board member, professional speaker and leader we needed the photograph to elicit the feeling of confidence and trust. However, this may be different for a person of high power who needs to elicit the feeling of power or status.
